...than with him in it..? ... This has been the case of about the last couple of season.... and definitely the case LAST season.. I know that the bizarre sense of loyalty and worship (as Stevie has done so much for you) will prevent lfc fans from admitting it... but if I have noticed...

you must have..
the team plays better as a 'team' with a focal point.... as we did without ronaldo... and Arsenal without Henry... more of a team... (less of a one-man tean)


to be a big and successful club... you have to be as ruthless as SAF was with players like Hughes, Ince, Ole Gunnar, Yorke, and Keane, Neville... no matter what they had done... when their time was up............ get out!?

Gerrard is better than every other midfielder Liverpool have by miles. Fact. A fully fit Stevie G can win games by himself. He has many years left at the top.
 
remember how well we played with him in the team against you, 3-1..

then after that when he got innjured we were still quality but not as good as that

he can only improve our play
