team's payrolls? Washington is leading the NL East and have the lowest payroll in the NL East. Atlanta is second spending just $2 million more than Washington. Then the Mets, Marlins, and Phillies. The Phillies are paying out more that twice what the Nationals and Braves are paying and the Braves have swept the Phillies twice this year. I just found that to be interesting.
 
Yea that is interesting. Although I kinda like the Phillies. I have to admit its funny when the low payroll teams are the wins winning it all. Kinda like the Cardinals. They don't have much of a payroll, but have won quite a bit in the past. Some of their key World Series players were guys that don't even make a million dollars.
