MY wife shows no lack of giving me emotional interaction at home. However, when I said I wanted punishment and torture, I was referring to BDSM...
 
If it's fake, then yeah, pathetic. I actually feel for folks in loveless marriages.

I think the person doing the conning is sadder than some kind hearted person who falls for it....however, if you know the person is married, you shouldn't get yourself romantically involved with them.
