...actual fight event? In my high school people will say "oh did you see the fight last night" and it seems they just watch it beacuse all the "cool people" watch it, they dont actually take the time to think how long of hard work and training it would take to be that type of athelete

I agree they might be ignorant about MMA and not understanding the hard work that comes with being a fighter and they might not care, I think they just watch it because they are drawn to the violence.

what bothers me most is so many people just want to see a brawl or some crazy stuff happening

they call it a "boring fight" when the person is doing what he needs to, that does not always include going all nuts on someone
 
I don't think it will last very long, I understand those guys are in good shape......but I don't see very much science ,planning, stamina, mental or emotional fortitude in the ufc fights........just alot of wild punches and awkward grappling, its all about who's the first to land a haymaker, just dumb luck.

Boxing is so much more than 2 guys in a ring hitting each other.
