It's really annoying.

I mean, it's popular because people obviously like it, otherwise they wouldn't listen to it. I hate people who keep repeating "Oh noes it's corporate garbage being forced at us by mass-produced 'artists' with autotune". Uh, how about you shut up and change the station, lol.
 
It's just an opinion. Everyone's entitled to one. If you don't like the people that complain about it, don't be around them. I like mainstream music though.
 
you have made a very fair point. it annoys me too, i LOVE mainstream music. it's just the best.
