i think its hilarious people will go out and spend 35k on civic hybrid
when a reg civic is about 18 give or take
so what if you save gas....you just spent 17k dollars to save 10mpg
not to mention its really fun if you computer fails because your brakes fail then you die
and when your battery is done for at 80k miles...you get a nice 5k dollar bill
everytime i see someone with a hybrid i just wanna yell at the owner or run it over with my truck
do you feel the same way?
it does effect me
im a mechanic...
people die from these cars if they dont know what their doing which 90% of all techs dont
some places...more specifically ford...have rubber mats and hooks to grab dead bodies out of the car if they get electrocuted from the battery or wherever
i get upset because its retarded lol im just telling you
when you need a battery...your gunna have a heart attack on how much it is to replace it
 
it pisses me off, but maybe thats because im young and broke.. i dont know. eh
 
Well u really got a point.I really thought hybrids were kinda cheap but yeah you got a point
 
I have 2000 Honda Insight, manual transmission. I got it with 10,000 miles on it, cheap. I sometimes get up to 70 mpg on trips. It is neon green, very obnoxious. and has conservative bumper stickers. It is a vehicle that does not have bad exhaust. Our batteries are fine and you need to get a grip on your aggressiveness. I do have an '85 flatbed Toyota dually, too among other vehicles. The Insight is a cool car and I like it. You don't need to buy one, but why do you care so much what I drive, pal?

People make a lot of bad choices in every way, why the upset over cars?
 
i TOTALLY agree.....it just doesn't make sense....some people are just weird
