Have you been ripped off by Apple and the 3G iphone? We have an iphone that is not even 5 months old that has been having issues: When it is turned on it works fine, but when it goes dim and falls asleep after 30 seconds Exactly it will shut off and not restart unless you do a hard restart. You can wake it up anytime within 29 seconds without having to do that. When attached to the computer it will work just fine fall asleep and functions perfectly.
This phone has been treated like a baby and has NEVER seen water of any kind. When we brought the iphone to the apple store they showed us the moisture sensor was a very faint pink and said basically you are SOL and that is that. I know we are not alone and I think it is a scam. We just argued on the phone with the Apple robots and when asked if a sensor can be defaulty we were told no. Now come on is anything fool proof? You mean to tell us that there is a 0% failure rate with this sensor - but they cannot show us proof of that.
I really think Apple is ripping us all off and was wondering what some of you out there have done. Has anyone gone to small claims court for this?
Tell me your story. I know there are more and more Class Action suits against Apple, but I am not sure of this one is part as of yet and I really think it should be.
What kind of customer service is this - what happened to the customer always being right? Instead it is so sorry give us your money, oops your sticker changed color, give us more money.
