Do you have to be 18 to join 24-Hour Fitness?

I am 16 and I really want to join by myself because I don't think my mom really wants to, but I don't know how old you have to be and I can't find it anywhere on their website. My friend joined when she was 16 (by heself), so I'm hoping it won't be an issue. Does anyone know?
