Do you have to pay for wireless internet or do you just need a router?

I need to know because i want to be playing my ps3 and my Wii online so i can play Call Of duty 4 and Super smash Bros. brawl.

Router for wireless is your local setup, you have to pay for the sign up of ISP. The wireless is beyond the ISP at your local area network, no extra for that.

the router will broadcast the wireless Internet. in order for the wireless to work, you need some kind of Internet service in your place. If you can pick someone Else's Internet up because they have wireless then that is fine for a laptop or desktop. You will need a wireless card for your PS3 and Wii. But connectivity will be crap if you do it that way.
