Do you have to read Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants to read Three Willows?

I haven't read Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, and Three Willows is by the same person, said to be the new generation of Sisterhood.... do you think that I have to read the Sisterhood first? Or am I okay? Please only answer if you know my answer.
