If you feel confident, try it yourself. Or, you could go to an oil change shop if any are available where you live.

I'd change it myself. Just don't over tighten the drain plug.

BMW, your gonna want to, there is a tool you need to reset the oil change light. I worked for a Cadillac dealership but luckily there was a BMW enthusiast that worked for us. So i did the oil change on our used cars and used his machine to reset the light. But you can do the oil change and filter change, just remember the light won't reset itself.
