...that make u think something is funny? I was watching "That '70's Show" today on NBC for the first time and the loud fake laughing that they added to the show started really irritating me. Most of the stuff wasn't even that funny and the fake laughing tries to make you think that it is hysterical.

This exceptionally loud and continuous laughing throughout the whole show every few seconds is very distracting to me and interferes with my concentration of the show. I would rather have no laughing at all and let me decide what is funny.

Anyone else find the fake laughing that they insert later when doing their editing to be a major distraction?

I find it ultimately distracting, i feel as if i've missed a joke when really i haven't at all
:(

Matt.

Most of the time, this is really annoying. But, sometimes, they'll throw in the sound of a elderly black woman laughing at the top of their lungs. That could make anything funny.

:D

i cant stand it either, that's only thing i hate about that 70's show, and most of the time the audience laugh at for no reason
