I wrote this poem for American Idol Contestant Danny Gokey and I just want to know what you think and if I should give it to him. I'm only 14 so i'm still improving in my writing:
Silent breath in prayer..
Reaching for dreams, wind blowing passion everywhere...
Giving it away to reach to further...
Hands clutched to heart in passion...
Darkness turning into light....
No song, no lyric...
The holy spirit...
Intense love deeply grasped...
Eyes closing to make it last..
It goes by so fast, so fast...
Enchanting strong feelings, no words left to say...
Releasing all desires into today....
Beautiful melody with a happy dance...
Seeking what can be given, finding a lot received..
All the years passing by to one moment...
Shakened and amazed, free under the beauty of love...
Running in the chaos of dreams, seeing all that it means...
Never forgetting, never forgetting....
The place it began....
A meaningful song, an engaging voice from a trying man...
Hesitant child reaching the screen with their hand...
Reflection of love, faith from heart...
Voice that sings, hands that pray, make a mark..
Power from within the soul, tears you can't control...
True and slow...
Feeling everything near and far in the distance..
Strong connection, no resistance...
Hearts continue the beautiful feeling...
No insecruity though all is revealing...
Humbled around under an incredible grace...
Touching looks from face to face...
Window in each eye, past the cry...
Hitting hard when you see the love...
A simple gift to share...
Away from home, but into a dream...
In the pain, in the grief....
