Do you study other religions?

As a athiest I have tried to get the basic ideas of a lot of religions, not to mock them not so im not ignorant to others beliefs and can try to understand their beliefs and point of views.

As a Christan, Mormon, Buddhist etc. Do you study other religions? Why or why not?
 
Yes, I am a Roman Catholic and I have studied many religions and most come around to the same basic philosophies...and to be clear, that's most, not all. I never felt right just accepting my religion of birth, I always had a need look around and understand. I'm actually getting to ready to look a little deeper into Hindu and Krishna.

I take what I need out of all of them and leave the rest - which helps me feel more rounded in my spirituality and belief.
