Do you think a husband who does this is funny or just has a poor sense of humor?

I would like to know what the majority thinks of this sense of humor. When we are out in public, he finds is amusing and funny to mislead people about the way he feels. Example, we go to a restaurant and he orders something on the menu. The waitress states it's not available. He will then go on and pretend he's really upset and that he wants to leave the restaurant. I always have to interject and explain that he's joking. It's embarrassing and I feel like I'm with a 2 year old. He thinks it's hilarious and that I should join in. It's every single time we go anywhere. He even harassed the poor pizza guy that came to deliver our pizza. He asked him for the menu then when the pizza boy said he didn't have any, he acted like he was so upset that he didn't even want the pizza. He told him that the only reason he placed an order was because he wanted a menu. People always believe him because he goes full out with it. Then I always have to say he's kidding and not to pay attention to him. Does this type of humor seem funny to anyone? Am I just uptight? I think it's completely idiotic and not funny to mess with strangers like that. I can't tell you how many times he does this. It never gets old for him. I tell him that people are going to spit in our food or something.
Thank you for the responses, I'm actually getting angry because now I know it's not me. Everytime I ask him to stop he tries to guilt trip me and say that I won't let him be himself.

Jenny Blankens: Before you decide to insult someone, you should probably know that "stupider" is not a word.....see it kind of counteracts your whole purpose and makes you look stupid instead.
