Do you think Boxers hit harder than MMA fighters?

Its all they practice so it makes sense if they hit harder, but i dont know if thats a full-proof idea. I mean just because they can slam, takedown, grapple etc doesnt mean they cant hit just as hard, if not harder than a boxer

What do you think???
 
boxers hit way harder homie. Mma is MIXED martial arts. Boxing IS, believe it or not, a martial art. It is the mastery of the hands, footwork, kinetic linking, cardio, as well as other extremely valuable skills. Any martial artist can attain these skills... it just takes a lot of time. A lot of practice, and a lot of passion. Like anything else, you have to want it. Many folks in mma are very lazy in this area of their training in my experience thus far.
I'm 145-155lbs and I clocked in at 1200 lbs of force with my straight left hand/ I was out of shape after the winter too. Took the test in March. I am a southpaw. Amateur boxer and mixed martial artist.
