Actually I think you are generalizing! I don't take myself to seriously at all, and people are always telling me I have a great sense of humor, somewhat demented but love a good laugh !

In fact, humor to a conservative hating liberal, is no laughing matter, which is why Air America and every other liberal effort to duplicat Rush and Beck fail, miserably. Honestly, did any human being find that idiot Colbert funny when he spoke before Congress?.

Quite the opposite. I do find that conservatives and liberals do have quite a developed sense of humor, much of it based on sarcasm. Progressives on the other hand are incapable of recognizing sarcasm when directed toward them. However, progressives attacks are generally vicious and vitriolic rather than sarcastic. Most of them actually believe the lies that they cast against everyone who does not believe their perverted ideology

Thomas Sowell once said that most Liberal arguments could be refuted with the simple question "Compared to what?". Surprisingly that is applicable here.

The Left not being uptight? are you kidding?

I mean if you talk about silly things like the mannerisms of leftist politicians there is no problem, but if you make fun of their politics....no sense of humor.

Many of them are issued a rectal stick early on in life and this throws off their chakras to the point where laughter becomes nearly impossible. At least laughter at oneself. Laughing at those different is still a legitimate option for many of them.

Laugh at themselves? Im not that arrogant, but alot of people say Im pretty funny. I got it from my Dad- the History Buff! He knew EVERYTHING about American history! Was the most friendly guy there was- and made strangers laugh everywhere we went!

Ha lah Dad in Heaven!
I bet he can't stand what Obama has done to America!
