Do you think I am overlooking a good relationship or is it really time to end it?

My boyfriend and I have been dating for quite some time, over a year to be exact, and our relationship is not exactly where I would like for it to be at. In the beginning we started off slow. I wanted to take my time with this relationship. My last relationship ended horribly and I wanted to be sure that I was ready to date again. My boyfriend was so patient with me and he stood by my side, which led me to believe that he sincerely liked me and that our relationship could prosper. But now that we are no longer in college and I am back at home, the spark we once shared is no longer there. We definitely visit each other often, but even during those visits the excitement is just no longer there. I often feel that our relationship is forced and that we are trying to make it something it's not. I have tried talking to him about it, but he didn't have much to say. My boyfriend is a good guy. We never argue, but as long as we have known each other throughout school we aren't even in love. At least, we've never openly discussed it. A part of me thinks maybe it is time to let it go, but then I am thinking maybe I am overlooking what can be a good relationship. What do you guys think.
