Do you think that pornographic websites should be blocked and made illegal in this country? Ever since it has become popular the child porn industry has been booming and is now a multi-billion dollar worldwide industry. It brings in more revenue than some TV stations. The websites are able to survive because in most countries there is not much enforcement or regulation of laws prohibiting the marketing of actors under 18, the only way law enforcement can find them is by tracking the internet users that visit the sights. And isn't it also dangerous that minors can have such easy access at their finger tips to pornographic sites, and all they have to do is click a precautionary button asking them to be 18 years or older? There are virtually know laws enforcing legal age verification. Not to mention the threat of viruses that infect millions of computers per year. I think these industries are too dangerous to be left legal.
I personally know people who would disagree with me, but I mean haven't people gotten along fine without internet pornography? For years most everyone has been fine with pornographic magazines, movies, and TV channels. Is internet pornography really necessary considering how dangerous it is?
True the first amendment allows it but we are at the point where it is becoming a danger (to minors and underage actors)
Just to clarify, I'm not in anyway a porn hater, I think it's a good thing in ways, but I believe it doesn't belong on the internet.
