Do you think it's annoying when people use "lol" when texting?

I have this one guy friend who literally begins and ends almost every text he sends me with "lol" and it annoys the hell out of me.

example of one of his texts : "Lol haha i wanted to go see that movie but my friend ditched me lol"
It's so annoying...
 
I don't think it's annoying. It just becomes a habit for some of us. I use lol whenever I think my text sounded harsh. I would say "My that sounded pretty harsh. I better put lol at the end so they wouldn't get offended." That's the kind of habit I use.
 
It is sometimes just a bad habit people have! the only time i think it is annoying is when the only thing in their response is "lol" that just sucks!
 
same way for theppl who go" like.... " "like............" lol=like. same anoyance.
 
I find it equally annoying. I know a girl who's facebook posts consist of some random sentence and then lolololololol. It's like, really??? Are you really lauging out loud over and over and over again?
 
I think its annoying when people text.

Which is better. . . hearing someone laugh, or seeing. . .OMG LOL!
 
Yes it's annoying..........texting in general is annoying! Pick up the phone, call and use a real voice and a real laugh!
