Do you think its ok if my boyfriend goes to the lounge without me on his bday?

Ladies would you let your man go to a lounge without you on his birthday? I dont ever tell my boyfriend how to live his life. But when he announced that he is spending his birthday with his guy friends at a lounge, i was bummed. He told me that even if he dances with other women i shouldnt worry cause he is not taking those women home. I was very upset when he said that to me. What he's really saying is that he will be dancing with other women. I feel that is disrespectful. It is not a jealousy issue. Its more of a respect issue with me. What is your opinion on this. How would you handle this situation. We are not teenagers. We are 30 yrs of age. Thanks
 
Let him go. But let him know hwo you feel about him dancing with other girls. If you want to spend time with him on his birthday take him out to breakfast or lunch.
 
tell how you feel to him, but let him for the day because its his birthday. in the future though, dont
 
I wouldn't take that, it is disrespectful in my opinion. What are you guys doing together if you're not pursuing something bigger (marriage or the like)?

I would let him know that you feel hurt and disrespected, but not make a huge deal of it. If he still goes anyway knowing how you feel, well, I know what I would do...but that's just me.
 
"it's his day let him spend it the way he wants" OKAY well then on YOUR day spend it the way YOU want... as in If he's going to go around acting like he's single then you go do the same thing. A real committed man who really wants a relationship with you is not going to ditch you like that. It IS disrespectful and i would flip sh*t if my man considered doing that. If YOU are his girlfriend, then YOU are the only woman in his life. DOES NOT MATTER what day of the year it is. Be strong sister.
