this question makes me wonder why do people do this. the other day i asked someone if i should buy a gucci perfume and they told me gucci is a black people thing and its not only with black people ive heard people say they dislike tommy hilfiger because too many hispanics wear it. why are these brands designated to races and do you think these designations degrade the fashion designers? how do you feel about gucci? prada? coach? and popular designers do you ever think of them as bad because a certain group of people wear them? just curiousty thnks for your answers.

your question is funny, because where i live, gucci is for rich white people, and Tommy is what all the white kids who want to be black wear.

stereotypes are so dumb. i dont stereotype. if i like it, i buy it. anything i mentioned above is just observations from looking at/listening to people in my town.

but the point i was trying to make is that stereotyping brands is stupid, because it varies from place to place. while gucci might be a "black people thing" where you live, it isnt where i live, and it probably gets tacked on to a different group somewhere else. its just dumb. let people wear what they want without worrying about what race it is supposedly for
