Sci-Fi movies) on planet Earth? Since Earth's mass is 5.9736×1024 KG and the normal gravitational pull of which we experience on Earth is 1 G, then does it mean that in order for us to have levitating cars, we must come up with a material that is strong enough, but that is light enough to not be affected by Earth's gravity, in another words, that material's mass would have to be smaller than Earth's mass, and thus meaning that that material will simply levitate, just as the slow fall of a leaf that is falling from a tree, but only imagine that material to be much lighter than a leaf, but as strong as steel. So do you think it's possible to come up with that type of material, and if so, when might we?
And might nanotechnology play an important role in developing that type of material?
