Jackie Chan was not in the film and it is a joke. *rolls eyes*
I have not insulted any actors at all, since I was referring to the fictional characters in the film. Anyone who didn't see this as a joke needs to have a word with themselves.

He is famous. How could you not know him.
What do you mean inappropriate?
He was just kind and old and he saw great talent in that kid.

And you need to change your view on things.

In response to your question, No, that's ridiculous. That's like saying everyone who read Catcher in the Rye becomes a killer. Or everyone who loved Jodie Foster's performance in Taxi Driver becomes a stalker and tries to kill the President. Or saying that video games like GTA cause people to go out and kill hookers, cops, and everybody else.

As for the offenders that own a copy of the movie? So what? I know several people who not only own it, but it is also one of their favorite movies.

Not that it matters much, but which Karate Kid are you talking about?

Great question! From what I recall I don't think the relationship was inappropriate at all.
The kid wanted to learn martial arts, the old man could teach him...the exchange was all the work the boy did on his property. Plus, the kid needed a good grandpa/man figure in his life so he's stop whining and being a dork.

I can't believe you would insult the man's memory. Then again I can't believe you would write this stupid of a question. The second answerer didn't read the question too well either. The Karate Kid with Chan is a rip-off to cash in on the name, and people in jail wouldn't OWN a copy of it, since it isn't out on video yet.
