Hi, so I posted my first question the other day about this woman that I have a crush on. I am bi. I have no idea what her status is.....by the way she acts, it seems that being bi is a possibility for her. Anyway, I have held my feelings in for 3.5 years, and I literally couldn't take it anymore! The problem is we are casual friends, not great friends, plus we live three hours apart. Our chatting is done through facebook maybe once a month. We did she each other a couple weeks ago, however. Anyway, I recently broke a rib and have been laid up on the couch for awhile going stir crazy. Here is our last string of messages:
Me: if it werent for pain meds and vodka i wouldn't no wya have the balls to tell you this but....you looked reallyyyyyy cute the other night

***I got no response w/in 24 hrs., so I called and left a message, and followed it up with this...
Me:my bad, Kate. my roommates and i got a little out of control last night. i apologize if telling you that i think you're cute completely freaked you out. awwwwwkward! i definitely didn't mean to make you feel uncomfortable, and i hope we can laugh about it together at some point in the future! ps: i was able to get out and go climbing today - first time moving since my rib incident!!!
Her: Hey really don't worry about it!! Sorry I missed your call I was at dinner for my friends dinner but really no worries... Glad you were able to get out and go climbing hope you feel better soon!

h phewww. thanks for the message kate. i think i've been on the computer wayyy too much with having to stay still, and i got myself all worked up. this is the last day that i'm stuck here!! i hope you had fun at dinner and that classes and lax (and your knee!) treat you well this week!!

I know this isn't much context, but what are your initial thoughts? She obviously didn't completey shut me down, and she seems fine with it. If she were interested, do you think she would have hinted at it? I know you don't know her....so if YOU were her and were open to possibly hooking up or whatever, how would you have responded? thanks!!
