I've known this girl for 6 years and I think she may have something wrong personality-wise but I'm not sure what, exactly.
First off, she's manipulative. You can see it in her eyes. She lies a lot... sometimes flawlessly and sometimes with the stories/excuses being obviously false. She shows a disregard for the safety or wellbeing of others and will put those things in jeprody if she can benefit from it.
She befriends vulnerable people who will provide her [money/drugs/transportation/etc.] essentially in exchange for her friendship. Once that resource becomes unavailable, she will discard the person like a tool. This has happened in every relationship to date, I cannot recall a single time this was not the case.
She also tends to befriend people who will boost her social status, and for that reason.
She goes through periods (usually several days) of being seemingly happy, outgoing and loud... followed by a period of deep depression to the point of self-mutilation and threatening suicide. An endless pattern.
Her attitude towards her boyfriend fluctuates between extreme love and extreme hate, they break up and get back together almost daily.
Do you think she could be sociopathic or something else? I'm not very knowledgable on this subject. Thanks.
