I have a 2000 Grand Caravan Sport with 17 inch wheels. 2 of the factory alloy wheels got dented already this winter. I'm not a fan of alloy wheels so I wanted to get steel wheels, but nobody has any in stock. Add to that, nobody in my area repairs alloy wheels. I need new tires and I know that no reputable company will put new tires on bad rims so my options are to just buy 2 new alloy wheels or downsize all 4 wheels to 16in steel. Will the 16in fit properly over my calipers (I assume it should), and will it have any adverse effects on the "Sport" package (whatever that is)?
