Does a 720p Blue-Ray Converter exist?

Hello all. I just purchased 50in Panasonic Plasma TV. Im using my Blue-Ray on my PS3. I was very excited to watch movies after i got done converting and burning them but the quality sucked. I was highly disappointed. Im not too knowedgeable about this so i was wondering if u knew how i could create great quality DVDs, using some type of 720p Converter for Blu-Ray or any other way. I just want my movies to look great like their supposed to on a big Plasna TV with a Blu-Ray. Thanks ahead of time.

You bought a BD player, you bought a plasma, now go and RENT or BUY some BLu-Ray movies.

Sorry, but Downloading SD crap from the internet and expecting to watch High-def is not exactly smart.
To watch in HD the SOURCE must be in HD as well. No matter of upconversion can make SD look like blu-ray.

You purchased good quality products and you are using low quality video and you expect them to be like a blu ray disc movie. No way. Rent some blu ray disc movies, or purchase your own. This is the only way you are going to get the best quality video for your new Plasma tv. Hope this will help you out.
