raised a European? Does a American mother have the right to complain if her US born daughter is raised a European not a American? She spends a lot of time with her European father and her European grand mother almost every day? She is also a very submissive girl, just like her European grand mother who she sees every day. Europeans say that the only way you can tell that she is a American is because she speaks English with a American excellent? She has no problem interrogating in the United States (is better behaved than most American children) and and has a closer relationship with her European father because he is the better parent. She also says that she only likes European man, but stays away from American man. European man are more romantic than American man, they have a different mentality, and are more diplomatic.

I think that it is all fine, as long as the girl is happy. I am European myself and I've been in US, met a lot of American girls, and I think there's no such big difference. Every nationality has its strong and weak spots, but as long as u feel good and comfortable I think no one has the right to complain.
Maybe the mother is afraid the the daughter will grow up and use to the European way of doing the things, and will prefer to forever stay in Europe.
But still, the daughter should choose the one country ( or continent in this case) that makes her happy :)

where is the daughter living? if she is in europe then it would make sense for the daughter to be raised that way. also the mother should be raising the daughter, if she were that concerned she could spend more time with her daughter to show her the joys of being an American; and the daughter can help by keeping an open mind. Xenophobia isn't cool.

Uh........................... The mom can complain if she was in the daughters life and finds it offensive the daughter is more European. If not, then no.

blah blah blah blah.

Sick of seeing this annoying post.
