...want to explain why? A tiny minority of people are hardly going to cause society to collapse. In fact religion holding back society is more likely to. Is this just your way of masking your bigoted homophobic views?
 
Christian Purity is a closet lesbian, I guess. That seems to be common with Christians. Personally, I won't be sucking a cock even if I"m the last straight man on earth, but hey... I'm just crazy that way.
 
Ultimately the Church's position is outdated. If they say they don't want gay marriage due to them having children, they are forgeting that the child who is going to be adopted might not have been adopted without the gay couple. And besides, a gay couple won't raise a child to be homosexual, thats ultimately up to the childs instincts.
 
They think it is impossible for a child to develop into a functional adult in the presence of two parents of the same gender.

It has nothing to do with missing a father of mother figure, as you don't see Christian crusades against single parents.

But still, it's called ADOPTION. THere are bajillions of kids around the world that need loving parents. Not all of them live here in the US.
 
They just say that crap about "if people are gay then children will think it's okay to be gay" yet they don't even give a valid reason as to WHY it's NOT OKAY to be gay.

Why do you say "tiny minority" It's redundant. Homophobia is a fear of homosexuals. I do not fear you, I pity you. So I am not homophobic. When I see a gay man, I get sick to my stomach. It is not a natural occurrence. To say God made you that way is to push the blame on to someone else... God does not make Homosexuals. If anything, you should be categorized as disabled because you are deformed at birth. No different than a mongoloid. But the Mongoloid will be lifted up to heaven without needing to ask.

You have to be careful not to become what you claim to hate. You proclaim hate for bigoted people, yet you yourself obviously are bigoted towards another group.

no family any more..no strong nation and proper gender roles.. just immorality. And children will see this immorality and think it's ok. And if one immoral sin is ok people will think murder and pedophilia and stealing and acting against GOD is ok. And then the country and society will collapse.

Divorce is only allowed in abuse situations. If a single parent was married and had a child in wedlock but their husband/wife was abusing them then divorce would be permissable.

Being a single parent because of that is ok. Otherwise it is not ok and is a sin because they divorced in the wrong situation or even worse, DIDN'T GET MARRIED AT ALL. And that is a sin because they must have had premarital sex.

How DARE you insult homosexuality that way. No family? They damn well have family. They were born into one and can start one all the same. No strong nation? I'll have you know that there are homosexuals fighting for this country as we speak. There are plenty in the armed forces, they just can not say so because of stupid laws that hide them for who they are. You might as well say that black people have to paint on white skin and not share that they are black. Proper gender roles? What, do you live in the 1950's? It is NOT immoral. Two consenting adults have the right to do what they wish, whereas I'm pretty sure the former two are more of a one way deal. No choice for the second individual(s) in the matter. i assume they think it would result in the breakdown in marriage and its values or the catholics say that children need both parents.

both discredited due to the high divorce rates already prevailant and the fact that homosexual couples are actually sticking together better.

and the fact that many children are orphans or children of the state and i assume that some kind of parent is far better then no parent

in short, they will continue to use jesus as an excuse for being a narrow minded bigot and will continue to not listen to reason and logic let alone rational thought.
 
I don't think it will cause it to collapse, but it is still a sin.
 
i just think that people of religion are scared of the unknown i mean gays are just like you or me , we are all people and we should be more compassionate and respecting of each other underneath it all , the color of the skin , the religion or the sexual preference we are all the same , people are people


and people that are against homosexual think that their sexuality will maybe affect the lives of the children of straight couples but thats just non sense

Yes indeed they are using their so called religious objections to homosexuality to mask their own homophobia.

And moreover, I would warrant that for many of them their homophobia is at its most basic level motivated by their own insecurity and uncertainty vis a vis the solidity of the foundations of their heterosexuality.

ie: They're all closet queens

and afraid to admit it, since being raised in backwoods trailer parks and narrow minded, intellectually barren suburban enclaves.....they have good reason to believe their loving family and friendly neighbours would beat the living CR@P out of them should they emerge from the closet wearing stilettos, pink tutus and Diana Ross wigs!

well, in the case of one southern governor, who recently blamed homosexual behavior for the cause of not just moral decay in society, but the destruction of his marriage, there may be some small bit a validity.

you see, apparently, when the south carolina governor, and morally upstanding christian husband mark sanford was walking down the street on a political junket, he was so morally shocked by the sight of 2 gay men coming out of a bar that he tripped and his d*ck fell into a gorgeous newswoman...over and over and over again.
