Baked bean, tomatoes, sweet corn, and now corned beef! I'm always expecting to rip open my hand. I can use a can opener.
The corned beef can was exceptionally frustrating, since my can opener doesn't like corners.
You've got the wrong sort of Swiss army knife! The officer's version comes complete with tin opener and corkscrew. Welcome to the 'upper echelons'!

I don't open many cans, but I do find the ring pulls are really convenient.
I used to hate opening the cat food with a can opener, now feeding the cats isn't a chore with the new tops.

i think its a good idea, if you've ever been on site in the middle of nowhere and the only thing you have to cook food on is a wood fire with corragated sheeting on top the last thing you want is to forget your swiss army knife. thank god for small mercys. ring pulls on tins of food i salute you.

I hate them all, especially ones with a key that you are supposed to wrap around the can to open it.

I prefer the rips tops because I'm too lazy to use a can opener. It seems so much simpler with a ring pull but it must be difficult for older people.
