Does anybody remember this cartoon about a magic book?

I want to say it was 90s... late 90s early 00s definitely. It was a cartoon about a magic talking book (it may or may not have had a B in the name somewhere?). I think it was made to cash in on the success of Harry Potter, because it was set in and around a magical school of some sort?

I can't remember whether it was British or not, but I watched it as a kid on British children's TV.

Does anybody remember this program?
