are these the same hippies that used to do their road trips in a clapped out V W micro van with flowers painted on the sides?
global warming research money seems to have considerably improved their road trip opportunities.

Jun 27, 2005 ... About half of US Army soldiers and even more Marines riding around in Humvees are driving in less than fully armored Humvees

Obviously we're not talking about people who are still hippies, but quite possibly where hippies in the 1960's, but they changed their outlook and grew up a bit.

I don't think they will be painting any flowers on the hummer. They would have got it out of their system a long time ago.
