does anyone feel awkward when meeting someone new?

like when meeting someone for the first time u talk to them about all the usual introduction stuff but then afterwards it gets kinda awkward cuz u don't know what to say to them? am i just weird? or like ur talking to someone ur acquaintances with but not really friends with and u don't know what to say to them cuz u don't feel entirely comfortable just talking to them like how u'd talk to ur friends. does anyone else have this problem?
