for Mumbo Sauce? There used to be a carry-out called "Wings 'N' Things" (14th Street NW in the 70's and Georgia Avenue and Kennedy Street NW in the 90's) that used to serve it over chicken wings. I'm not talking about that red syrupy stuff that the current neighborhood Chinese carry-outs use. I am talking about the real deal- yellowish, orange and a little thick,somewhat resembling sweet and sour sauce . I have seen recipes but none of them are even close. There has to be some Old-Schoolers out there that remember the REAL DEAL and may have a clue or two. Any former "Wings 'N' Things" employees out there willing to share a recipe?
