I've tried a few make it yourself batches, but they're not turning out as delicious as I'd like them to be. I know it's kind of the wrong section, but I thought you might have some suggestions?
Manzana: that recipe looks really good! Thanks.

Light and Crunchy - oh how I wish Nature Valley still made those, it was my muppet lunchbox favorite. Although now Id probably think it was all unhealthy.

Under 'Lunch Box' they have the granola bar recipe. I thought it was delicious.

I used dried cranberries in place of dried apricots because the kiddo's love dried cranberries.

I dont know a recipe but if you break down and buy one from the grocery store, do not buy these, they had samples when i was that the store this weekend and they are like candy goodness, I would have eaten the whole box on the way home

yes...

4 cups of walking to the store
3 cups of pulling out the debit card
1 teaspoon of chatting with the cashier
3/4 tablespoon walking home
1 pinch of un-wrapping everything
1 pinch of re-wrapping in my own foil
1 pinch of lying my *ss of and claiming they are homemade

works every time

I made these with my after school cooking club kids (35 kids under the age of 10) and they were a HUGE hit. The pretzels added a great salty addition. Plus, they were no bake, which made them even better! We did everything in the microwave, not on the stovetop so the kids could do it.
