My friend has the same thing in. I think she said afterwards she was very sore and she bled. I found a website that gives info on your specific type of IUD. Here it is and good luck:

Im getting the coil (The IUD) fitted soon, can anyone give me a bit more info, i havnt had children, will it hurt? and also how long until i can have sex after having it fitted and will i need to use extra contraception for a while after? Anything else would be greatly appreiciated.
