Does anyone know how to grow nasty mold in a petri dish?

what do i use? I am doing it for a contest at school and i really want to win!
 
I just found a lunchbox in my trunk from some-odd-number of months ago, and the pizza and banana had some repulsive specimens on them. I would suggest trying some easily-spoiled food (dairy, fresh fruit, etc.) Hope that helps. :)
 
if you were older, id ridicule you. just get some of the oldest and potentiallys stinkiest produce from your fridge, and let it spoil in the dish a few days
 
Well, you need that gelatin material as well, which you should have. I'd scrape the bathroom with some type of device - be sure to have gloves on....First, scrape the phone EVERYBODY uses. Then, scrape the bathrooms - and I mean good. Sinks, soap dispensers, etc. The floor is a good place where a lot of bacteria hang out, and anything that is rubber or squishy....stairwell railing is a good place as well. Doornobs, etc. Scrape all these things with different q-tips or wooden sticks, and then rub it on the gelatin at the bottom of the petri dish. It'll work.
 
Uhm, sorry no, but why do you need to know how to make...Mold..?

Try putting bread, by a heater or make something that need to be keep in a fridge and keep it out.
