Does anyone know how to makes really good sugar cookies?!?

I am making some for a party that my sister is having tonight, so does anyone have a recipe for soft, gooey sugar cookies, not those nasty rock hard ones.

Add LOTSA sugar!!
Lol, but seriously, sugar makes cookies runny sort of, so don't put too much in- maybe sprinkle some on top right before you put them in the oven????
Or go with a Pillsbury mix- you can't go wrong with Pillsbury :O)
