...on balanced meals and nutrition? I'm trying to drop about 10 to 15 pounds and encourage my family to eat healthier, but I don't necessarily have hours to spend every night over a stove. (I work 8 hours a day, work out 2 hours a day, and we're remodeling.
I'm somewhat new to cooking, but am capable of having a recipe turn out successfully. The trouble is, the cookbooks I've been using in order to eat healthier call for really BLAND recipes. I know healthy food doesn't have to be bland or gross. I also have no clue how much of what types of foods we are supposed to eat every day. I'm not trying to diet, (such as the no carbs, south beach, adkins, etc), just eat healthy balanced meals every day combined with exercise. Does anyone know of any good books and cookbooks that may help me with knowledge of nutrition and good recipes?
