I am looking for a youth fiction book that was read to me in grade school back in the 90's. It is about a future where people live in a dome/ artificial environment, children are pale and fat with shaved bald heads and are plugged into computers all day to learn in school. A boy is accidentally flushed out of the sewer system far away and must learn to survive in the wild. He later finds native people that he never knew existed and lives with them. Eventually he learns the truth about the dome and returns to find that his father runs it, who is responsible for the brainwashing and lies about the outside world.
