does anyone know what format ebooks have to be for a pda.?

im trying to get some ebooks on my pocketPC and i dont know with format they need to be or where i can get a reader where the only way to read a ebooks is through the intrenet or using only ther eebooks from their site.
im looking for a free full use ebook reader for my PockPC

For some time, there was a plug-in for MS Word that could convert every file into MS Reader files, which could then be read in the MS Reader app on your PocketPC. Development for the program has pretty much ceased and the Word plugin has disappeared. Also, it always had problems displaying content from a memory card.


The most usable and flexible e-book reader is - no doubt - uBook Reader.
