Does anyone notice how completely different Family Guy is since it's return in '05?

Like Peter use to be funny as in stupid..Now he's literally retarded? Yet he acts smart and goes on these rants in a smug tone. Lois is all wild for some reason. Brians hella into drugs. What's with all the drugs? And also Stewie is gay now? Why? Everybody hates meg which i don't really understand that much either. Peter seemed like he really cared for his daughter in that early episode when he went to her school to stop toad. Chris says smart things now which is annoying like when he told his parents why it's called "dope". And also The Cleveland Show is going to suck eggs. It will suck eggs. Oh and the cuttaways use to actually have relevance before their return. It was to back up a point or something. Now it's all pop references and overly exaggerated stars or something.

family guy is SO stupid. and i hate how apparently its 'everyones' favorite show. well so it seems for grammar school kids, high school kids, and even college students. its really annoying. every episode is like you said exaggerated and stupid. i really hate over sarcastic shows. it really annoys the crap out of me. evey episode doesnt even make sense. its just a punch of stupid parody scenes thrown in together.

also what i dont understand is why so many people like it when it makes references to SO many things/situations/people that its impossible (unless youre a couch potato and into TMZ) to keep up. most of the time i'm left with "wtf? i dont get it" but people laugh! they laugh and they dont even bother to know what theyre even laughing about or at. i guess they just like stupid characters on tv doing stupid things? hence why the simpsons were a big hit i suppose.. thats another show thats lost its touch over the years. but i guess that can trail off into another topic of its own.
