Does anyone write custom programs for PDA's?

I have finally found a use for my Palm Zire that has been in storage for years. I need a portable source for my coin collection inventory. IF the shareware programs I've downloaded won't work as I need, I would like to see if there is someone who can write the program the way I need. Any Ideas?
