Does call forwarding show up on the bill statement?

My friend has two cell phones. Both are at&t and he hates caring them around and just wants to carry one around but needs them both. I know they have call forwarding feature. So I was wondering if its free and if it would show up on the bill. If so, which statement would it show up on ( one phone or both phones bills) thanks
