i just got my hair done today and my highlights are really blonde,
but she put some new ones in and they're not as blond, it's hard to explain
what color it is, kind of brassy i guess you could say. but i heard dish soap makes
that go away. is that true? or is there something else i could do?
okay, it's not brassy. it just a darker shade of blonde. but i keep seeing "purple shampoo"
is it like a toner?

you can get an anti brassy ness cream from sallys but no dish soap dont do nothin but dry your hair out

I don't think that will work, but you could always try if you want! What I do is I use purple shampoo, it gets rid of the brassy color. It worked really good for me! So it's worth a try! And it's not that expensive either!

i have never heard of that, it will dry it out badly, especially if you have bleach on it.

Go back to the salon and have her fix it, or if you aren't comfortable having her fix it request a different stylist. A decent stylist will be happy to fix something that you are unsatisfied with.

Nothing you could do would fix "brassy" yuck
