I have norton as a protection from virus and I'm wondering if i get frost-wire will it give me virus or not PLEASE! answer honestly!

Yes, the file shared on the Ares or Frostwire may contain virus, including the .mp3 files.
the strategy is the attach the virus in the mp3 files and it will be downloaded together with the file.

Beware.use Avira antivirus for best protection

Really any p2p software could give you a virus if you are not carefull. just make sure you check the file size of the file your downloading for music it should be around 1-3 mb i use limewire and havent got any viruses with it in quite a while now

Ares, ftw.

I use Ares. It hasn't given me any problems, though it crashed my mom's comp. Frostwire=Limewire. BIG no no. Limewire is just pr0n. One time I thought I was downloading a Blood on the Dance Floor song (Inject Me Sweetly, to be exact) and I got chicks making out. And a Trojan. So no. Ares works good- but it's a P2P program, so there's about a 1/50 chance you could get a small (or big, but that's less likely) virus, but 'Fix-It'- you can get it at Wallyworld for, what, 10, 20 bucks? Trust me- it's worth it.- can just delete it like that. And no- I'm not advertising. Just sayin'. Besides, Norton's not that good. Oh! And Ares has a hell of a lot better search engine. More results and most of them aren't complete crap. So, yeah, Ares is better.
