I have heard that gold plated spoons are the only way to eat ice cream and that was heard from a professional taste tester. This is not a fancy desert in a diner sort of thing, but an attempt to enjoy something at it's most finest. I do not enjoy eating with silver plate and have done so on many occasions. Silver leaves a taste in my mouth. If gold is the same then I don't think I would enjoy it, but having experienced a different taste already when eating with silver I can see how gold or any metal would make a difference to your taste buds. At any rate, is it worth attempting to locate a single gold plated spoon for my ice cream enjoying pleasures? LOL
