What's the definition of gossip? I always thought it was talking about someone and their lives that really had nothing to do with you. But if you are recounting an incident that happened to you, can you later be accused of gossipping about the other person involved?
At the building where I live, the building manager confronted me and told me that I was gossipping about one of her staff to another staff. However, she failed to acknowledge that I was involved directly in the situation as the staff I was talking about made a huge accounting error on my file.
I wonder if she was just accusing me of gossip to detract from the fact that her staff had made the accounting mistake with my file.
Also, she brought up personal things about me that would suggest that her staff was, in fact, gossipping about my personal life which they had no part of!
