I like this guy, and it seems like he likes me too. We were texting earlier and we joke around a lot. We were talking about hanging out (we don't know each other, but we have a lot of mutual friends) and I said he'd be lucky to hang out with me. I put a ;) to let him know I was joking. He then said that he was happy just thinking about hanging out with me. I texted back and told him I was happy too. He didn't say anything back... why? This isn't about sex, we're both waiting until marriage.
Did he mean that, or was he being sarcastic?

We flirt A LOT.
 
He seems like a sweet guy, I'm sure he meant it.

It's understandable to second-guess yourself when the two of you flirt so much, but it seems legit to me. Also, guys tend to take flirting a lot more seriously than girls-we don't always just flirt for 'fun', and we never flirt with a girl if we aren't at all interested in her (unless it's blatantly sarcastic and meant to be a joke, like way over the top flirting-which this scenario isn't).
